Manga Update

Ok, so heres's the deal. I finished reading Fullmetal Alcheimst, so if you want to see my reiew, go to the post 'FMA Review' or somthing like that. Now for the real stuff. Today, about 30 minuets before this post, I finished on the last episode of Fullmetal Alchemist brotherhood, and first big change, ED"S TALLER THAN WINRY 2 YEARS LATER! I'm so glad, he's not short anymore. And secondly, it was awesome to watch all the serious and emotional moments (I almost cried at some of them, so be careful if your an Alphonse Fan) I would watch it over and over and over and it will never get old. Now, also, I am on Volume 30 out of 31 availible on Bleach! And so far it's very good, awesome to read, but not as good as FMA of course *Grins* So I would recomend reading both. And since I finally got FMA off my shoulders *By meaning I've finished watching it so I can't waist my life away in my bedroom* I can now continue watching Bleach, for which I am very behind. I'm only on episode 26 out of about 277 last time I checked, maybe 278, dunno. So I really need to catch up! And yes, some other ones I'm interested in are Blood+, so tell me how that is!

Colossalcon 2011!

I just found out I may be able to go to my first anime convention!!! Colossalcon!!! You see, long story short, I found lots of Anime Convention videos, so I wanted to see if there were any near me, and I found one!! Colossalcon takes place every year and has different activites, like games, manga, panels of your favorite stars from shows, and even some other great stuff! Even an AMV screening room!! *Faints* Sure, I'm kinda remenicing on somthing like this, but this is a huge thing to me, almost like my life long dream to see the band U2 live *Sigh dreamily* Bono rocks.............anywho back on topic! I reserched on the topic of anime convetions near where I live, and turns out I found Colossalcon, which takes place at Kalahari Resorts! It takes place between June 2-5 you see, and it's 25$ an admition on Fridays and Saturdays, 45$ for a pass for the entire weekend (Its a weekend convention) and 15$ for Sunday. This is going to take place next year, 2011, so I'm gonna do whatever it takes to get there *Ba-da-da-DA! music in the background and stands up boldly looking deturmined with fist up* I mean, sure I could affored it, it's just that 1, I need to bring a friend with me if possible and 2, get someone to drive me there. Also, I heard that Vic Mignogna (Edward Elrics voice) Aaron Dismuke (Alphonse Elrics voice) Wendy Powell (Envy's voice, my favorite Homonculi) were this year *Squeal* Hopefully they will be there next year!

This was a very beautiful and incredbile Music Video out in the world of YouTube. War, this is pretty much what FMA is all about, fighting the Homonculi and the Philosophers Stone. I have to admit about this video I'm impressed how the creater of the Video, JenAndBrother, labled everyone in the video and had the words on the screen, like a Ishvalan child being a Civilian, Jean Havoc as the soldier. What was even more true in some ways was Roy Mustang as the Liar. hope you enjoy this, I just cant help adding that I'll put up what the video said each person was. The Happiest of Men- Hughes

To let you know, Hughes is a huge character in the plot of Fullmetal Alchemsit to, his full name is Maes Hughes, who was a man in the military and was best friends with Colonel Roy Mustang. Maes also loved his wife, Gracia, and daughter Elicia, with all his heart, and this reflects his death and him loving his family so much (SORRY IF THAT WAS A SPOILER!!!!!) Also, EarnestHum0r (Maker obviously at the end is says so) used part of the Fullmetal Alchemist movie, Conquer of Shamballa. NOTE: Put it on full screen!

Violet Hill- Ishval (Or Ishbal)

This song and video has quite a history, you see. The video talks about one of the most repeated and talked about (And all out important) events of the past in Fullmetal Alchemist, and that is the Isval Extermination Campain, when Furher President King Bradely ordered Ishval to be exterminated after 7 years of war. Why it started, here's how, from the very VERY begining. Ishval's religion has one god, Ishvala, and he is to be the creater of all things, and to the Ishvalans, alchemists were a sin to god, for they were creaters and judged themselves to god's power, and when Ametris tried to teach them Alchemy, they broke out into small minor fights. These built up till finally an Ametris soldier fired his gun at an Ishvalan child, killing the child, then the war began. They exterminated the Ishvalans, yes, but there are small camps of them living in hiding. A common Ishvalan who is very important to the show is our lovely criminal Scar, who only targets State Alchemists, Alchemists who work for the army, commonly known as 'Dogs of the Military' for they are forced to kill with Alchemy when needed, because State Alchemist's were sent out into the extermination campain, and killed all the ones they could kill, helping military out. NOTE: Please pull video up onto full screen for best effect

A very VERY well made tribute, once again AMV maker EarnestHum0r has dazzeled me again by finding the pefect song to fit the character well! And with very good effects to! *Sparkley eyes* Anyway, for those who havent read, you can kinda get a good idea on how the song fits with King Bradley (AKA the head of the military, Furher President King Bradley.) Also, the military is pretty much in charge of the entire contry of Ametris (The country the entire story takes place) and I hope you enjoy this epic video. NOTE: Put video on full screen for maximum effect, I ask kindly of you for it and it isn't as good as a super mini video screen

This...........is..........EPIC. If you are an Alphonse fan looking at tributes, this is the best one you will find, with the best song to fit him! As long some of the plot to Al, you can probably see how MUCH this song fits with him, or not even know the plot and watch the video! Also, those of you who have seen Treasure Planet (Disney Movie) you should have heard this before. Also, I would reccomend you open the video up to fullscreen and turn off the lights in your room for maximum effect.

I honestly have to say this ain't flashy and stuff, but I love how this very new AMV maker made everything blend together so well. Along with the song choice, I LOVE IT. My review on Fullmetal Alchemist (Manga)

You may want another video, some of you, I know. But this I have to get out. In case someone reading this (Which is several people I know personally and maybe without my knowledge on the internet) have no Idea what Fullmetal Alchemist is about, let me explain! In summery, it's about Edward Elric and his younger brother, Alphonse Elric (My personal fav) getting there 'Original Bodys' back. What this means, going in further, is that Edward and Alphonse's father left them, and there mom passed away, and in desperate attemt to revive there mother, Ed lost his left leg, and Alphonse (Mostly called Al though the series) lost his entire body when there transmutation failed and they opened the 'Gate of Truth' where they see the so called truth for a certain toll, in this case it shall be Al saw MUCH more then Ed because he lost his entire body, and Ed saw little because he gave up his left leg. Ed also lost right arm to pull his brothers soul out of the so called 'Gate of Truth' and put it into a piece of vintage armor. So they hear of a object called a 'Philosophers Stone' which ignors the law of Alchemy, which is 'Equivelent Exchange' often refered in both shows and manga, it pretty much means to obtain something, somthing of equal value must be sacrificed. They run into many friends along there journey, and find out a terrible plot involving creatures called the Homonculi, which can never die, and the military. OK enough of the review, I'm starting to spoil, if you are interested in this, READ IT. I recently finished the series on one Manga, though the actuall manga volumes containing the end are not released. And in other words, GREATEST THING I EVER READ. I reccomend it to everyone that reads this, also it does cuss some times and in the manga on one manga it does say the F-word, Though I always asume it's a miss translation once in awhile, cause they never say that in the manga books. One Manga only translates the text bubbles, not the sound effects such as VOOM or DOOM or SLASH, to explain the difference, also it may cuss more offten when it may not (Only by my knowledge) Anyway, Also as a check point for you (If you havent stopped reading) is that if you watch the TV show, there are two of them from previous posts, obviously. So in other words, you wanna follow the Manga, watch Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (Highly reccomended by me) if you don't wanna follow it as much, and want some more humor, go to Fullmetal Alchemist. And last but not least, please, PLEASE, DONT WATCH THE DUBBED SHOW. Fullmetal Alchemist's dubbings aren't that good, but in the first show that came out, not brotherhood, you can get used to Vic (Eds voice) and the cast, but in both I have to say I hate both shows dubbs for Alphonse, he sounds to young. Eds fine though he gives me a laugh attack at anything funny. now, if you watch it with the english subs, Al's casting was PERFECT, everyones was!!!! Drat I'm trailing off, I'll post up several videos, and some song/lyric vids to! Enjoy!

Good News

Hi people, a quick break from music videos and updates on Anime. I just recently wannted to tell you that I have finally aquired a Inspiron Mini Netbook! Now I can blog even faster on here and have my own computer, not using the super slow one in my basement! SWEET COMFORT! I will have a few new videos soon, I'm in another state sadly now, so I can't really put up a new one at the moment. I'll try at my next rest stop on my SUPER long trip. ENJOY!

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood AMV The Truth

I've recently finished Fullmetal Alchemist* and honestly I hated (SPOILER WARNING) that Alphonse got his body back but he was 10 again and didnt' remember all his adventures! I also cried! Currently also, I've started watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood* and found a perfect video to fit with it (New fav song!) The song is Daylight Slaving By 'From Autum to Ashes' (Note, the stars or * next to somthing means to look down below to see an explimation if you are confused and have never seen the show, like if you don't know the diference of FMA and FMAB or what that means)

*Fullmetal Alchemist is the first show of Fullmetal Alchemist only it parshly follows the story line from the Original Manga, I will also refer to Fullmetal Alchemist if you are wondering as FMA, ends at 51 episodes and I beleive split into 2 compleate seasons

*Fulmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is the second version of FMA, it starts off at the very beginging of FMA only this time follows it exactly like the Manga not partly from the Manga, FULLY (YAY suckish ending from FMA is GONE!) I will also refer to this as FMAB, this is more than 51 episodes, about 65 so far, still currently adding on!
